Color coded categories? Like red 1-3 quests, orange 1-3 dungeons, etc.
I don't really have strong opinions either way. You can look at my dungeons to see what I have done there. (BTW these are the markers I've used Media:MapMarkers.png) I realize we should agree on things before doing too much work, so we can avoid having to redo it. If you would like to give it a shot, you can mark the map and write stuff, and if it looks fine then that's how we'll do it.

Dungeons
Goblinwatch
Map Markers:
- Chest with Goblinwatch Code Scroll for quest 3
- Switch to open walls
- Combination door (code: NILBOG)
- "Maintenance" teleport destination
Notes:
Nilbog (door combination) is Goblin backwards. The code Dilbog will work too.
Monsters:
Goblin, Goblin Shaman, Goblin King
Common Rat, Large Rat, Giant Rat
Bat, Giant Bat, Vampire Bat
Blood Sucker, Brain Sucker, Soul Sucker
Gharik's Forge
Map Markers:
- Switch for bridge
- (Down) Switch for door at '3'
- (Down) Switch for bridge
- (Up) Switch for treasure room
- Chest with Letter to Marcus Scroll (useless)
- Chest with Gharik's Journal Scroll (useless)
- Door requires Gharik's Key from Silver Helm Outpost
- Chest with Hourglass of Time for quest 13
Notes:
You can easily skip the 'bridge puzzle' by casting a jump spell or by sliding on the wall.
